During a rainy lunch break I decided to see if I could find a better view of the ongoing redevelopment of the former Parade Mall to see what would become known as Portwalk Place. Luckily, the exterior gate was open to allow sitework equipment access to the property. Not visible is an inviting mud pool in the foreground. Will capture progress over the coming months.
UPDATE: As construction progresses at the Portwalk site, the archaeological richness of the area is being discussed, and the risk of losing its historical value if not properly documented throughout the process of demolition/reconstruction. Interesting article at SeacoastNH.com here and another at Foster’s Daily Democrate here.
