A rainy visit to Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse during the open house hours put on by the Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse was rewarded with some nice captures as shown above. I hope to get back to capture the beautiful winding staircase, perhaps on a day with a little more sunshine. Nevertheless, the weather was appropriate for a very old lighthouse.

I love this view – I hope to get out there on one of those tours myself. I keep writing it in my schedule but work seems to take precedent.
