Another unique feature of Portsmouth are the well preserved streetscapes found near the waterfront in the South End and throughout the Historic District, lined with homes built up to several hundred years old. This will be the first post in the “Streets of the South End” category. This vista looks down Washington Street from the Court St. intersection near Prescott Park and the perimeter of Strawbery Banke.
