The approach of Fall is signaled by the return of the freighters to Portsmouth’s working waterfront. Here the sand & salt piles are loaded onto the massive freighter as seen from the Granite State Minerals truck scale from the Market Street entrance. oh WOW, that last one is incredible, love the greys with the screaming reds and yellows! We took a cruise to the Isles of Shoals the other day and got a good look at the ship as we passed, it’s a sight to behold.
