Market Square’s large brick patio in downtown Portsmouth is quite an inviting spot any time of day…for a conversation on the benches or to enjoy some high quality people watching. This shot is an ode to summer…when the evenings were still a bit warmer and the sun stayed out a bit longer.

Many, many, many thanks! Thanks for checking it out – will be checking out shortstream, you’re doing some great stuff. Glad you found your way to the site – we actually met way back when during the NH primary at the Dondero school…small world

this photo is really amazing. i’ve been admiring all the work on your site and just wanted to comment and show my appreciation. my husband and i don’t get to go to portsmouth as often as we’d like (which would be… every day) but your photos make us feel almost like we’re there. now who wants to deliver a popover to nyc and really make us feel like we’re in portsmouth?

thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback!! glad that I can provide a little taste of NH for you daily – hope you get up to visit soon. nyc is quite a place itself, you could have quite a fascinating little photo blog for the city as well….i’ll be visiting and shooting next weekend. not quite sure a popover would keep fresh on the drive though!
best,
phil
