    I look forward every day to seeing these gorgeous images of Portsmouth, a town I always loved. I lived on Marcy St and Gates St, as well as in Kittery, ME and though I have been gone a long time, and wasn’t born there, it is still where I say I am from. Thank you so much for bringing a little piece of “home” every day through your moving and beautiful images.

    I enjoy your site primarily for it’s focus on the down town construction which I feel the local rag ignores to our collective detriment. Anyway, I live in Newington and would love to see your take on the old church and school in town. My son is in Germany for the year and really appreciates the reminders of home. Thanks..

    I have a few pieces on display at the Portsmouth Art Exchange at 220 State Street downtown…there are some huge canvas prints on display at the new lobby of the Portsmouth Reg. Hospital that are awesome…and next month it’s looking like I’ll have a good chunk of work available at 100 Market Street. Stay tuned or feel free to write with questions.

    I’ve been dropping by your site almost every day this month and just have to tell you how much I enjoy your work and interesting commentary. I love Portsmouth and keep coming back to the idea of creating a website to share our fair city from a native’s perspective. If this comes to fruition, I will certainly provide a link to you!

    Since our upcoming relocation to Portsmouth I have been scouring the internet for info and came upon your lovely website. I thought I recognized some of the beautiful shots you have here, but couldn’t quite figure out where I had seen the images before, until I read some of your comments…

    My husband and I traveled to Portsmouth in March for one of his interviews and absolutely LOVED the lobby at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. I can honestly say that those images had an influence in our choice to make Portsmouth our new home.
    After many years as a military family, and several overseas tours we are looking forward to settling in a beautiful part of the country, one that you depict so well in your photographs.

    So, I have to thank you Mr. Cohen, and look forward to seeing some more of your work in our new town. I’m sure my husband will enjoy those beautiful canvases every day as he makes his way to his new job :)

    Am interested in purchasing a photo of the Memorial Bridge for a magazine story on bridge funding.

    Don’t have a big budget, but love your photo of it with the brick hotel in the background.
