‘Twas the Night Before the Night Before Christmas | (In Market Square)
Portsmouth has been busy with the holidays fast approaching – with hardly a parking space to be found. It’s been nice to see downtown so busy with people from all over shopping, eating, parking, and generally being merry. A very Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy Chanukah & New Year to all. Thanks for tuning in – hope everyone enjoys some quality time with their family and friends.

Congress Street | Decked out for the Holidays
I love that Portsmouth spends a lot of time and energy decorating for the holidays. Wreaths are mounted on all the street lighting, creating appealing tunnels of light at night, and the tree in Market Square is a favorite for many – I know because every time I drive/walk past, there is someone snapping a photo. Happy Holidays to all!

Christmas in The Rain

The annual tree has been lit in Market Square, and it’s simple and beautiful from all angles. I happened to be out and about during the rain earlier in the week, and noticed how awesome the reflections were in the pavement of Congress Street – so I ran to grab my camera. There will be more shots before Christmas comes and goes – but wanted to wish everyone a great weekend and a Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas with a little glimpse of holidays in Market Square.

In the Window | Alie Jewelers
Chances are – wherever you live, you’re walking the same streets time and time again, sometimes taking the time to look around and take in the scenery – and other times going through the motions. I’m always keen to look out for cool reflections in windows, and have seen numerous good angles on the North Church in the past. This particular day, the late afternoon sunlight was too inviting on the steeple to keep walking by. The warm spring weather had me in good spirits, making a point to enjoy my walk before heading home for the day.
