Sanders Fish Market | Marcy St.

Marcy Street is one of my favorite streets in Portsmouth.  It’s a great narrow little pass from Prescott Park to Sanders Fish Market (seen here) and New Castle, whether you’re running, biking or driving.  It can get a bit dicey since it’s so narrow, especially if you happen to be running, biking or driving when someone else is running/biking/driving!  The area feels (and is) incredibly historic, and has seen quite a renaissance from what I’ve told – from back in the day when Portsmouth’s South End was a lot more sketchy.  At sunset one night I decided to stop and snap a few of the newly renovated market, that has one of the best locations in town with its view of the Piscataqua River behind the building.
