The Portsmouth Brewery has always been one of my favorite spots to grab a meal and/or a beverage in town, especially now that the cold weather is here and outdoor destinations will have to remain a memory until next spring.  The location on Market Street is fantastic in the heart of downtown, with colorful buildings across the street as seen lit in the background.

The painting above the entrance to the downstairs lounge at the Brewery (where you can play pool or even a game of shuffleboard) is vibrant and inviting against the classic brick walls of the building.  If you venture downstairs you’ll find some more risque paintings behind the bar.
