The New Hampshire coastline is the smallest of all the coastal states in the US with only eighteen miles of shoreline. This weekend I went out on an early morning voyage with my brother, we grabbed a quick breakfast at The Golden Egg and then headed for the coastline. It wasn’t the best light of the day, but the mid morning sun was great and the waves were interesting enough for some shooting. This shot was taken near the sharp turn on Ocean Boulevard, past Ray’s Seafood heading south. The waves gave us a few gifts, and made some threatening splashes to the rocks we were standing on over the shore.
I love how the coastline hugs the frame along with the motion of the splashing water. I think this calls for a return visit during sunrise sometime soon…maybe later in the fall when it’s a bit colder with some biting temperatures.
