I had a fantastic evening last Friday – my wife and I decided to have a picnic out at Great Island Common in New Castle, NH so we grabbed some food from Napoli Market & Deli in the South End and headed out to find a spot by the sea. I also secretly hoped that we might get a glimpse of the supermoon over Whaleback Lighthouse – we are so fortunate to live so close to an oceanfront vista that could enjoy the profile of a lighthouse and a natural astronomical phenomenon. Unfortunately, some clouds on the horizon kept the massive moon hidden for a few extra minutes and it was higher in the sky – but the light at sunset made this a memorable scene.
Solace at The Beach in Ogunquit, Maine. After the sunset on a hot summer afternoon, the sky was graced with a deep blue hue and some pastel colors over the horizon.

Happy Birthday America! Have a wonderful 4th of July holiday. Thank you to those who continue to fight for our freedom and for ensuring that all Americans can continue to enjoy life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Steph and I took a trip north with our little munchkin to visit some of our oldest friends, who also happen to be the reason we met each other. Ogunquit Beach at dusk was a magical place after a dinner downtown, with some beautiful pastels in the sky and warm summer air with the refreshing ocean breeze. I’ve got many more images to share from our little summer getaway that I’m looking forward to sharing!
