A Night View of The Tugboats
With increased freighter traffic throughout the winter, it’s usually a quiet and calm scene down by the waterfront as the massive ships unload their salt – effectively reloading the Market Street terminal for distribution throughout New England.

Tugboats in the Snow
With the return of winter, snow is inevitable. Based on this fact – I always make it a point to get out and enjoy my favorite scenes regardless of the weather – and this shot of the Moran Towing tugboats in the snow was my reward during one stormy day in 2012.
The Memorial Bridge is one of my favorite places in the Seacoast as you can enjoy a fantastic view of Portsmouth and Kittery on a walk over the Piscataqua River. The positioning of the bridge provides great views of sunrise and sunset – but on this particular evening I was drawn to the architectural detail and symmetry of the structure and the motion of the cars in either direction as they passed by.
