Buoy & Boat | Portsmouth Waterfront
Quite possibly my favorite boat along the Portsmouth, NH waterfront. This boat along with a red skiff sat at rest on an early winter morning at high tide just after sunrise. The stillness of the water and the colors of the elements make this one of my favorite images of the year.

It has been amazing to see the vision of some dedicated and passionate locals come to life! The folks behind Puddle Dock Pond fought a long/hard battle to see this project through, and as I have heard many people say since it’s opening – it is hard to imagine that such a phenomenal and quintessentially New England winter venue wasn’t here sooner. I can’t wait to bring my family down for a skate once our little one is big enough to don a pair of ice skates! In the meantime we’ll settle for enjoying the fun from the sidelines topped off with a hot chocolate next door. A sincere THANK YOU to those who donated time and money to make sure that this project saw the light of day. It is amazing to have another great winter activity right here in our own back yard!
