Trap Falls | Willard Brook State Forest

It was a beautiful weekend, and while home in Massachusetts for the day on Sunday my Dad and I decided to go see how Trap Falls was looking.  This waterfall in Ashby, MA near Willard Brook State Forest is usually comprised of three streams of water coming down the rocks.  We timed this visit perfectly, as there was still snow in the area and the recent rains made sure that the falls were much stronger than usual.  I had a great time shooting my first waterfall… looking forward to future adventures.  Video to follow later today.

The Daily San Francisco | Part I

San Francisco is another amazing place, much beloved to many just like Portsmouth.  I’m lucky to be spending a week with my older brother and sister in-law (and the their new addition – baby Norah) at their apartment in the city, which overlooks the infamous Alcatraz and the beautiful Coit Tower.

The shots above capture the view from the back of their place…always changing with the daylight and the fog. More to follow throughout the week, I hope you’ll humor me by visiting – even though it’s not quite The Daily Portsmouth.

Fenway Park | Boston, MA

Tonight’s post features a place special to (nearly) all New Englanders.   Seen above is infamous the Green Monster and its newly added seats.  The Sports Authority sign welcomed two home runs against the Blue Jays on Friday the 28th, thankfully one of them was from the Red Sox courtesy of Jason Bay to tie it up at 5.  Below is a view of the field from the stands along the 1st baseline with the ominous stormy sky, before the heavy rains arrived.
