Portsmouth Beneath Fresh Snow

Portsmouth Beneath Fresh Snow on Thanksgiving Day

This winter’s first snowstorm left just in time to leave behind a beautiful coating of fresh snow beneath clear skies.  The earliest light of the morning was the most intense with the base of the clouds lit up with bright oranges and pinks, but by the time I made it over to the Kittery waterfront for a clear view of the Portsmouth skyline, the clouds had almost entirely blown out to sea.  It was a real treat to watch the skies change and the clouds clear out and transition into a beautiful day.  I have very much to be thankful for this year and this was one more reminder as I headed home to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family.
